I have over thirty years of research, teaching and
consulting experience in water resources systems engineering. I have been teaching courses in civil engineering and water resources systems. For my graduate teaching I
received an award for excellence. In addition I have been recognized with an award for overall academic excellence. Besides undergraduate and graduate teaching I really
enjoy advising graduate students. Closer contact with, and individual attention to, each student provides for two-way learning experience. My graduate students taught me
a lot. Work with graduate students in my laboratory (FIDS) has created one big family. University Teaching
